Throughout my life I've experienced a consistent yearning to go deeper- with God, self, and others. This desire led me to join a mission trip to India that changed my life;sign up to become a FOCUS missionary;become a FOCUS Team Director;pursue a masters in Marriage & Family Therapy;and finally, step into this new adventure with Xavier Mission Fund.

During my time in FOCUS, it became increasingly clear that the surface-level problems people carried day-to-day often weren't the real issue. Rather, they were merely symptoms of underlying hurts, loneliness, fear, and faulty understandings about God. What these deeply rooted places needed was tenderness, mercy, and accompaniment rather than simple management. I have come to recognize part of my insatiable yearning as an invitation from Jesus to deeply accompany people: especially those going through significant challenges and suffering.

Insomuch as I have received the tender love of God in my own vulnerability, shame, and neediness, I ardently desire to let the Lord pour His mercy out to others through me. This is only possible through Xavier Mission Fund and your support, so thank you for considering joining my mission team!
