Leonard & Yazmin Gutierrez

After serving as missionaries with the Fellowship of Catholic University Students for a combined eight years on multiple college campuses in Oklahoma and Kansas, Leonard and Yazmin Gutierrez moved their family to rural Minnesota in the fall of 2023 to continue making disciples within a diocesan and parish setting. Leonard serves as the Director for the Office of Evangelization in the Diocese of New Ulm, while Yazmin stays at home with their two-and-a-half-year-old twins. Originally from the West Coast, they have embraced rural life and cold winters to live out the Great Commission in New Ulm. As missionaries with Xavier Mission Fund, Leonard and Yazmin will continue accompanying husbands and mothers through Bible studies, discipleship, and moments of incarnational fellowship to make married missionary disciples in the parish.
