Olivia Shingledecker

After serving at the University of Northern Colorado as a FOCUS missionary, Olivia discerned a call to bring her lifelong passion for home birth and homesteading to northern Pennsylvania. She is currently pursuing an apprenticeship in traditional midwifery while living on an organic homestead that produces nearly 75% of the food for the resident family. Through this experience, she has gained deep, practical wisdom and is eager to continue growing by educating and sharing about Christian permaculture at the St. Spyridon Center. Olivia believes that both birth and permaculture are powerful places where we can restore our relationship with Creation as God designed it.
