Silence For Seven

Silenceforseven.org is a nonprofit dedicated to helping people reclaim a small but meaningful daily practice: sitting in silence for at least seven minutes. In a culture shaped by constant stimulation and social media noise, we believe silence offers a path toward clarity, healing, and common ground.

By creating space for stillness, Silence For Seven aims to reduce anxiety, fear, and depression, and to support personal growth and emotional well-being. Based in Aspen, Colorado, the organization plans to launch a beta website by February 2026, with a mobile app and social platforms, including Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram, to follow.

The platform will be intentionally simple, featuring a seven-minute timer, daily quotes and short videos, and a curated library of resources such as books, music, podcasts, research, and nature cams to help users build sustainable routines around silence.
