The Rosary TEam

The Rosary Team is a nonprofit organization founded in 2019 by Teresa Rodriguez, initially serving a memory care facility in Boulder County, Colorado, after she recognized that many seniors lacked spiritual support. It was formally established as a 501(c)(3) in 2021 with the mission to train, place, and manage volunteer prayer teams that pray the Rosary with seniors in nursing homes and care facilities. Volunteers come from local parishes and form pairs that visit regularly, bringing comfort, peace, and the powerful love of Christ through prayer. Since its inception, the initiative has expanded into over 100 facilities, spanning numerous states, and is endorsed by Archbishop Aquila. The Rosary Team offers both spiritual companionship and methodical support to replicate its model in new communities, offering a mentoring “recipe” for growth nationwide. It brings joy through shared devotion and affirms that elderly residents are never a burden but treasured members of the faith community deserving of prayerful presence and hope in eternal life.
